Evening Star Waterfront Residence

Set along the waterfront, Evening Star Residence extends the architecture into the landscape to create a seamless indoor outdoor experience. The project is organized around clarity of view, aligning the home, water, and horizon through open sightlines and layered terraces.

Arrival begins in a quiet courtyard defined by stone, water, and controlled planting. From there, the landscape opens to a sequence of outdoor living spaces that transition naturally toward the bay. Covered lounges, dining areas, and open terraces are positioned to capture light while maintaining a sense of privacy.

Water anchors the composition. The pool and spa are integrated into the geometry of the site, creating reflective surfaces that connect the home to its setting. As evening falls, lighting reveals texture and depth, reinforcing the relationship between interior and exterior.

The result is a composed landscape that supports both daily living and entertaining, with a direct and continuous connection to the water.

Design Approach

The landscape is organized as a series of horizontal planes that extend the architecture outward, reinforcing continuity across the site. Materials are restrained, allowing stone, water, and planting to define the environment.

Circulation is direct and legible, guiding movement from entry to waterfront while maintaining clear sightlines. Outdoor spaces are defined through subtle shifts in elevation and layout, creating distinct areas that remain visually connected.

Planting is minimal and sculptural, maintaining openness while softening transitions. Integrated planters and low profiles support the architectural language without interrupting views.

Lighting is precise and understated, emphasizing structure and key surfaces. Each element is resolved as part of a unified system, resulting in a landscape that is clear, controlled, and fully aligned with the architecture.
